How to ensure the normal operation of the differential pressure sensor core?


SMP2900 and SMP2910 are both differential pressure sensors. Unlike conventional differential pressure sensors that can cost thousands of yuan, they do not have mechanical overload protection inside. To function properly, it is essential to understand the characteristics and parameters of the sensor. Both the positive pressure chamber and the negative pressure chamber can withstand a certain amount of overload, and the selection documentation includes information on the overload multiples corresponding to the measurement range. Making the correct choice can help avoid errors. Additionally, a valve group can be added; during operation, there is often static pressure in the system pipeline. We need to first place the sensor in a static pressure state by opening a bypass valve to allow the medium to flow from high pressure to low pressure, reducing direct contact of the medium with the sensor to prevent impact. Then, we can open the valves on both the high-pressure and low-pressure sides, at which point the sensor can operate normally and stably.
